Mountain bike route description

Let us begin at Plaza de la Marina in Malaga. Just cross the main street Alameda Principal and take the bicycle path to the left. Follow it all the way turning right after El Corte Ingles and it will take you to the Malaga Football Stadium La Rosaleda.

Now the bicycle path crosses the river and turns left. Just follow. Suddenly the path ends, close to the sports center, keep going straight. Follow the signs 'Jardin Botanico' o 'Botanical Garden'. When you come to a roundabout turn right. Now there is another roundabout: take the last exit (turn left) and go straight. You will cross the highway. When the signs show to turn left for the Botanical Garden you have to turn right. This street will take you to the entrance of Parque Natural Montes de Malaga.

Now the off road part begins. Here in the park there is just one way, so just follow it. As long as you are in the park it is always going up (moderate). But finally (after 7 or 8km), the path will take you to the exit of the park. Now you are on asphalt road M-345. But before you go down again, take some time to relax and enjoy the panorama. There is also a bar (if you want to eat or drink something).

When you are ready to go down, turn right and follow the road. After the climb in the park, this street is just going down, on the way you can enjoy some great views of the city and surroundings.

To go back to the city center just follow the signs 'Centro'.

Have a nice trip and enjoy the silence in the park!
