We’ve been renting trekking bikes in Málaga for years – bikes often used as touring bikes for longer rides and cycling travel – and we continue to do so today, from the same location and with the same local team. There’s just been a small change in how trekking bike rentals are organised online – they are now presented and booked through our sister project Escapada Cycling, dedicated to cycling travel and discovery.
Why this change
To make it easier for travellers to find the right bike and cycling experience for their stay, we are now organising our cycling offer more clearly online.
Escapada Cycling brings together trekking bikes, e-bikes and mountain bikes, focusing on cycling as travel, enjoyment and everyday exploration.
bike2malaga, on the other hand, focuses on road cycling, gravel riding and performance-oriented bikes and tours.
If you’re looking for trekking bikes, e-bikes or relaxed discovery rides, you’ll now find them on Escapada Cycling.
If you’re looking for road bikes, gravel bikes or more performance-oriented cycling, you can simply stay right here on bike2malaga.
Nothing has changed on the ground
At the moment, we continue to operate all bike rentals from our long-standing Málaga base. Our trekking bikes are prepared, maintained and handed over by the same local team, from the same familiar location, using the same fleet you’ve always known.
Nothing has changed physically – only the way information and booking are organised online.

Trekking bikes are now booked via Escapada Cycling and picked up at our Málaga location – exactly where you have always collected your bikes.
